I have spent three summers on the Johns Hopkins campus: two summers with Johns Hopkins’ CTY program and one summer with their Pre-College Program. What can I say, I love this place. The campus is beautiful with red brick buildings and lush green quads. Access to Inner Harbor is easy, a short bus ride is all it takes to visit one of the greatest aquariums in the world, great seafood restaurants, and shops. The dorms here are awesome; Charles Commons is the newly built living quarters and the inside is like a 5-star hotel. There are restaurants, cafes, an extensive workout facility, conference rooms, and lounges. There are also the AMR dorms (your typical college dorm), Buildings A & B (four person suites) and the last one I’ve been to are the Homewood apartments, the nicest apartments on campus. But enough about the campus, the real reason why you want to come here are the academics. Johns Hopkins is the home to great medical, science, math, engineering, and international relations programs. Its medical school is ranked 2nd and all the laboratories have state of the art equipment and technology. Overall, this a great place to go to school, undergraduate or graduate. I hope that I will be able to attend JHU in the fall.
strangely enough, I’m definitely applying to JHU and thinking about majoring in neuroscience ^ ^ it’s great to be able to visit colleges vicariously through your posts…haha
